It’s been a complicated season for the Milwaukee Bucks.
They couldn’t catch a break all year, and especially not in the final stretch, as Giannis Antetokounmpo’s injury sealed their fate and made them fall from the No. 2 seed.
Now, they’re slated for a first-round matchup with the Indiana Pacers, and that could mean trouble.
As a matter of fact, NBA analyst Tim Legler believes the table is set for an upset.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, he argued that Indiana’s style of play is a problem for Doc Rivers’ team, mostly because of how much they push the pace and the Bucks’ struggles to defend on the perimeter.

He also believes they could run most teams off the floor, including the Bucks, who haven’t been as good on defense lately.
Legler argues that Damian Lillard doesn’t look well physically right now, adding that he thinks they could get the best of the Bucks even with a healthy Giannis.
That might not be much of a hot take, as the Pacers actually beat them four out of five times this season, including a win-or-go-home matchup in the In-Season Tournament and two consecutive wins.
The Pacers couldn’t have asked for a better matchup, and there’s some animosity between these teams dating back to Giannis’ altercation with Tyrese Haliburton and all the fiasco surrounding the ball from his 60-point game.
Also, with Doc Rivers’ well-documented struggles in the postseason, a veteran and savvy tactician like Rick Carlisle should have a giant edge on the sidelines.
