The upcoming season can’t start soon enough for the New York Jets and their fans.

Aaron Rodgers’ attendance at their voluntary offseason program fueled back the faith in this team, but that wasn’t the only thing the Jets’ PR team shared on social media to hype up the fans.

Two months after Chairman Woody Johnson let the fans know that new uniforms were on the way, the Jets finally unveiled their ‘Legacy Collection’ with three new uniform versions.

They will feature a legacy green, legacy white, and legacy black, all while boasting a new and more modern version of their iconic logo.

Per the team’s website, this collection is a nod to the Jets’ Sack Exchange era from 1979 to 1989.

The jerseys feature double-stripe shoulders and single-stripe pants, which is the same design they wore during one of the most iconic times in franchise history.

They refreshed the Sack Exchange logo by including a custom typeface with a bolder composition, also reshaping the shape of the plane to give it a faster and more modern look.

Each helmet shell will feature this new version of the logo, with either a green or white face mask.

Even so, none of that will matter unless the Jets get the job done on the field as well.

Once again, there are Super Bowl expectations in New York, and while it’s nice to see the team look good on the gridiron, all that matters is getting back to the playoffs and dominating from start to finish.
