The New York Knicks have had one of their best seasons in years.
After seasons of struggles and coming up short, they are officially the second seed in the Eastern Conference before the start of the playoffs.
The energy in Madison Square Garden is going to be downright electric during the opening round of the playoffs and millions of people wish to be there.
Kendrick Perkins is so impressed by this Knicks team that he might make the trip to New York.
Speaking on Twitter, the NBA analyst said he wants to show up for a game.
“Im thinking about pulling up to Madison Square Garden for a playoff game. It’s way past due,” he said.

Although Perkins never played for the Knicks during his 14 years in the league, he spent many seasons with the Boston Celtics and is very familiar with that part of the country.
More importantly, he played against the Knicks many times and knows just how devoted and engaged New York fans can be.
This year, they have every reason to be fired up.
The team has been sensational throughout the year and has one of its best rosters in team history, featuring stars like OG Anunoby, Donte DiVincenzo, Josh Hart, and more.
Of course, bringing everything together is Jalen Brunson, the team’s star point guard and one of the greatest players in the league.
Because of their spot in the standings, the Knicks have a few days off to rest and recharge before the opening round.
They will battle either the Philadelphia 76ers or Miami Heat in the first batch of games.
Those are going to be tough opponents but the Knicks have shown all year long that they are very adamant about going as far as they can.
The opening round of the playoffs will be a chance for them to prove that.
