Grayson Allen just finished his first regular season with the Phoenix Suns and averaged 13.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3 assists during his 75 games with the team.
The Suns obviously liked what they saw from Allen because they just gave him a massive payday.
Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Allen has agreed to a four-year, $70 million contract extension with a player option.

This was a great season for Allen, with him leading the league in three-point shooting at 46.1%.
The response to Allen’s new deal was mostly positive online, with many people stating that he is “worth” that huge price tag.
“Bro is worth it,” one fan said.
Bro is worth it.

Others called Allen a “lights out shooter” who could really help the team moving into the future.
They definitely need all the help they can get, because the Suns have high hopes and expectations with the big three of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal leading the way.

However, some Suns fans were concerned about how the team could afford to pay so many people so much money.
The contracts of Durant, Booker, and Beal are already quite heavy and now Phoenix will be paying even more with Allen’s new deal.
How can they afford everyone

Obviously, the team’s front office worked out the logistics of this contract and they know that they can afford it.
But it will leave them even more strapped for cash, meaning the possibility of them signing more big talent to the team is very minimal.
However, they might have all of the skills and power they need right now.
The Suns are officially the sixth seed in the West and will face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the playoffs.
