Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets won their first championship together last season.
They have done so well this year that it’s very possible they could win a second title in a matter of months.
As reported by Michael Scotto via NBACentral, Murray thinks his partnership with Jokic is better than just about any other duo in the league.
Murray said:
“I think we’re the best duo. I think they’re in a bigger market and people have more interest in LeBron and AD in LA, or what Dame and Giannis could be, or what Luka and Kyrie could do. If we’re talking about the best duos in getting the job done and how they play for each other and with each other, I think me and Jokic are undoubtedly number one.”
Jamal Murray believes that the duo of himself and Nikola Jokic is better than the pairs of Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, and Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving

There are a number of great pairs in the league right now, such as LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, and Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.
But no team has enjoyed as much success as Murray and Jokic.
The two have created a strong bond and friendship that shines during games.
They enjoy playing with each other and they also put up amazing numbers too.
Murray said that he and Jokic are talented when it comes to “getting the job done” and that’s undeniable.
Just months ago, they claimed their first NBA title and may be well on their way to another win.
They ended the season just behind the Oklahoma City Thunder in the West and will soon face their seventh seed, either the Los Angeles Lakers or New Orleans Pelicans.
Even though they might not be the top seed in their conference, many people agree that Murray, Jokic, and the Nuggets could earn back-to-back championships.
