The NBA regular season is already in the books.
And with the first set of Play-In Tournament games also in the rearview mirror, not many teams are still in contention for an NBA championship.
With that in mind, sports analyst Ric Bucher shared the list of his top-five duos in the league (via Speak).

For starters, some were shocked to see that he didn’t include LeBron James and Anthony Davis, not even after they clinched the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference.
Instead, he went with Devin Booker and Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns at No. 5, and their scoring prowess will always make them a force to be reckoned with, regardless of how they’ve fared in the regular season.
Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey got the nod at No. 4, and while they still need to secure a postseason berth, the Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the strongest forces in the league when their two stars are healthy.
At No. 3, he chose the Dallas Mavericks duo of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, perhaps the most entertaining backcourt in today’s game with all the things they can do with the rock in their hands.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren finally got their flowers, standing at the No. 2 spot after securing the No. 1 seed in one of the most stacked Western Conferences we’ve seen in years.
There were no surprises at the top spot, with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray being the best duo in the game nowadays.
