A big player needs a big locker, and while all NFL players are big, Cam Jurgens certainly stands out from the rest of the pack, just like most centers.

It’s the dawn of a new era for the Philadelphia Eagles, as Jason Kelce is no longer in town.

Nonetheless, the team won’t cry over the spilled milk, and they’re more than ready to move on.

That’s why they’ve officially taken the first big step in the Cam Jurgens era by giving him Kelce’s old locker, as he confirmed in a press conference (via Eliot Shorr-Parks).

Jurgens told the media that the equipment crew had moved all of his stuff into Kelce’s former stall.

Notably, it wasn’t his decision, as he only noticed it when he realized he couldn’t find his old locker.

The Eagles knew this time was coming eventually.

Kelce actually chose him to be his heir and replacement a couple of years ago.

They gave him a chance to showcase his skills as a center during the 2022 preseason, and he was quite impressive.

He’s strong and athletic, and he excels in the running game.

Last season, he didn’t allow a single sack and only gave up 22 pressures, ranking No. 29 among all NFL guards.

Now, it’ll be up to him to make sure the Eagles keep finding success with their infamous “Brotherly Shove” or “Tush Push” play, and while he still has strides to make in pass protection, this could be a smooth transition for Nick Sirianni’s team.
