The Golden State Warriors need to figure out what kind of team they’re going to be in the future.
Stephen Curry isn’t going anywhere, even though he’s clearly not happy with the way the season ended.
So, they could either double down on him and give him more stars, or they could build for the future and commit to their young players.
For Colin Cowherd, the answer’s pretty obvious.
In the latest edition of his show, he claimed that the Warriors should pull the plug on this roster and move on from whoever they need to move on, except for Curry, Draymond Green, and Brandon Podziemski.
He firmly believes that they could get decent value for Jonathan Kuminga, Trayce Jackson-Davis, and maybe even Andrew Wiggins should they decide to go that route.

Moreover, he thinks the Warriors could make a legitimate run at Paul George, as he’s a California guy, and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to extend his contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.
He also predicted that if the Los Angeles Lakers flame out in the playoffs, they should give LeBron James another call, as he’s obviously pretty close to Green and once claimed that he’d like to have an opportunity to play with Curry.
Cowherd argues that Curry needs someone who can score 28 points per game by his side, and there aren’t that many guys like that who might be available.
Still, even if they become available, getting another star will be easier said than done for this team.
