With the NFL Draft just around the corner, almost everybody in the league keeps talking about the quarterback class and some of the top wide receivers in the game.

We could be looking at a new record of offensive players taken in the first round of the draft.

Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean there’s not more than enough talent on the other side of the field as well.

With that in mind, NFL analyst Greg Cosell talked to Ross Tucker about his best CB prospect ahead of the draft.

In his latest appearance on the Ross Tucker Podcast, Cosell raved about Alabama’s Terrion Arnold.

He believes he’s a smooth cornerback with quick hips and great instincts.

Arnold is a privileged athlete with top-end speed who can usually stay in front of his guy, and he’s very quick to recover in those few instances he’s caught slipping.

He’s also quite poised and intelligent when it comes to making reads and becoming a factor against the run, which is something young CBs usually struggle with.

On the downside, Cosell does think he needs to improve his work at the top of the route, as he was often vulnerable and allowed some easy catches after losing contact with the receiver.

Arnold is currently projected to go No. 11 to the Minnesota Vikings, but with them looking to trade up for a quarterback, it wouldn’t be shocking to see him land with the Denver Broncos at No. 12 instead.
