The Atlanta Hawks have some big decisions to make in the offseason.
It’s become painfully evident that their star backcourt isn’t a good fit together.
Most people thought that Dejounte Murray was the perfect player to pair with Trae Young, as both of their flaws would cancel out.
That hasn’t been the case thus far, and with them stuck in limbo, they might have to separate them.
With that in mind, former NBA player Eddie House predicted that Young would be the odd man out.
Talking on “The Carton Show,” House claimed that it’s not like Young cannot play, lauding him for the numbers he’s been able to put up since he entered the league.
“I don’t think he’ll be with the Hawks next year.”

However, he thinks he cannot coexist with Murray, citing the last play of the first half of their loss to the Chicago Bulls as a prime example of that.
There have been rumblings about Young’s future with the organization.
Some reports state that he’s rubbed some decision-makers, coaches, and even players the wrong way.
Even so, given his talent and youth, there could and should be plenty of teams interested in acquiring his services, should he become available.
The Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs have been mentioned as potential destinations for him, given his ties to Klutch Sports and to Texas.
Whatever the case, the Hawks might have to come to terms with the fact that they could be better off starting from scratch or building around Murray instead of Young.
