Over the last several seasons, Tobias Harris has played an important part for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Just this season, he has averaged 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.21 assists on 48.7% from the field.
Even though the 76ers have created good chemistry and found varying degrees of success, Harris might not be with the team much longer.
Keith Pompey is reporting, via NBACentral, that several NBA executives believe that there is a chance Harris will sign with the Detroit Pistons in free agency.

Harris would bring a lot to the Pistons if he decides that Detroit should be his next home.
He has veteran basketball IQ and playoff experience, which would greatly help the young Pistons.
One might ask why he would want to play for a team that had just a dreadful season but even the most critical analysts agree that the future could be bright in Detroit.
Although things are bad now, they could be much better in a few years, especially if the team continues to be led by Cade Cunningham.
Therefore, Harris might be signing on with a team that could be one of the most exciting in the Eastern Conference, just not right now.
Harris is now 31 years old and still has multiple seasons left in him so he could be with the Pistons as they turn the page and reach their next level.
And he could instantly become part of their starting lineup, if he chose to move to Detroit.
Plus, he played for the team before, averaging 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists during his three seasons there.
Harris has a good thing going in Philadelphia right now, but moving back to Detroit could be a smart move for the team and for his NBA future.
