With less than a week to go before the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft gets underway, the speculation continues to run rampant about the quarterbacks that will be available on April 25, with quite a few expected to be taken in the first round.

Although the top-three quarterbacks seem to be set in stone at this point, with Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels all expected to be gone with the first three picks, there are still some other talented quarterbacks that could also be game-changers on the NFL level.

J.J. McCarthy, Michael Penix Jr., and Bo Nix are three quarterbacks that could go in the first round or fall to the second or later next week, with no telling exactly where these three will land on draft day.

Although all three of these players have received much praise recently, there’s still some debate about which ones should be taken after the top-tier quarterback prospects are gone.

Former first-round pick Johnny Manziel, via the Action Network, believes that Nix is the biggest sleeper among the quarterbacks in this draft class.

“I think Bo Nix is easily one of the biggest sleepers on the quarterback side of this draft,” Manziel said.

With no one ever really knowing how any of these quarterbacks will pan out, Manziel could very well be on to something with Nix, as he could be the sleeper of the draft and make some noise on the NFL level.

Only time will tell which quarterbacks live up to or exceed expectations, but there will be plenty of them to keep track of in the NFL after this draft.
