The first-round of the NBA playoffs is almost underway, with the Cleveland Cavaliers hosting the Orlando Magic in a very exciting series.
Both teams are young, hungry, and up-and-coming, so it’s hard to make a prediction.
They also have plenty of talent in their ranks.
However, there’s a defining factor that makes former NBA champion Paul Pierce give the Magic the edge.

He questioned whether Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland liked each other, as they seemed to be off at times.
That’s a valid point, as having good or bad chemistry could make or break a team’s season in the playoffs.
The Cavs have found plenty of success without one or the other on the court this season, and they clearly have more than enough talent in their ranks to take care of business against the Magic or anybody else.
Then again, with all the rumblings and rumors about Mitchell not wanting to be in Cleveland for the long run circling around the team for months now, that could take a toll on how the rest of the team sees him and whether he’s actually committed to winning there or not.
Whatever the case, this is going to be an exciting and unpredictable series.
But if the Cavs flame out in the first round, it wouldn’t be shocking at all to see this be the end of Mitchell’s stance in Ohio.
