Although the 2024 NFL Draft is less than a week away, there’s still football to be played as college teams are in the midst of the Spring games portion of the offseason.
Spring games give teams a chance to get some reps real-time reps in against themselves or other teams.
The defending college champions the Michigan Wolverines are set to take part in their spring game which will feature the Maize and Blue teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for returners to prepare themselves for the 2024 college season and give fans an early glimpse at how the program looks.
The Wolverines will be without head coach Jim Harbaugh who departed to take the same job with the Los Angeles Chargers, but they did promote Sherron Moore to replace him.
There are several high-profile names in attendance for Michigan’s spring game, including former NFL quarterback Michael Vick via Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider.

Vick went to Virginia Tech for college, so it’s a little unclear why he showed up to Michigan’s spring game.
Perhaps he could be angling to join the collegiate coaching ranks, something he could excel at given his playing experience.
The Wolverines will look vastly different next season without Harbaugh and former starting quarterback J.J. McCarthy who is expected to get drafted in the first round.
Moore will need to figure out who his new signal caller is before the start of the new season, but for now the expectation is that Michigan will be in the postseason mix again.
