Deion Sanders is perhaps the greatest cornerback in NFL history.
An incredible athlete with a knack for big plays, he was the ultimate game-changer in the secondary defense.
However, as great a player as he was and as many legends as he shut down, Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill still likes his chances against him.
In his latest appearance on the Million Dollars Worth Of Game podcast, the star wide receiver stated that he would put up 175 yards and a couple of touchdowns on a prime Sanders.
Tyreek Hill says he’s getting 175 yards and 2 Touchdowns on a Deion Sanders in his prime Who y’all got?

He stated that they used to play a lot of man-to-man coverage back in the day and that wide receivers are way shiftier nowadays, adding that he could do his damage in a lot of ways, whether it’s with the deep game or with short routes because he knows how to do it all.
Needless to say, that’s a bit of a bold statement.
One could argue that today’s rules make it significantly easier for offensive players to dominate and get an edge over defensive backs, but that doesn’t change the fact that Prime was the ultimate shutdown corner.
49ers legend Jerry Rice was the only player who repeatedly found any sort of success against Sanders, and we’re talking about arguably the greatest wide receiver of all time.
Of course, Hill is also one of the best in the game today, and you gotta love that confidence.
But putting up 175 yards and two touchdowns on Deion Sanders? That’s just not happening, Cheetah, it’s not.
