With the NFL Draft around the corner, the fans want to know absolutely everything about the players their team might get.

And while there’s never been such a thing as a perfect prospect, especially at quarterback, this class features some incredible talents at the position.

Of course, we all know that Caleb Williams is going to go first overall, and rightfully so, but he’s hardly the only elite prospect entering the league.

Recently, former NFL QB Chase Daniel gushed about Jayden Daniels, going as far as to call him the best progression passer he’s seen, not only in this class but in all the time he’s been evaluating young quarterbacks who will make the jump to the pros.

Talking on The Ross Tucker Podcast, Daniel stated that as much as everybody knows that Daniels is an elite runner and scrambler, the fans don’t seem to understand just how good of a pocket passer he is when he needs to be, which is more often than people realize.

He stated that Daniels is extremely fast at going through his progressions, and it sometimes seems like he’s predetermined to know where his guys are going to be.

Daniel argues that that shows just how smart he is and his understanding of the game, praising the way he reads defenses and coverage.

Whoever gets the LSU product is going to have a legitimate star, and even though he’s gotten most of the praise for the plays he does with his feet, he’s a passer first and foremost.
