The Dallas Cowboys continue to be one of the most highly-discussed teams in the NFL.
While this team naturally has a lot of publicity due to their global branding, their recent playoff losses have been concerning to much of the fanbase and the general public.
The Cowboys have been a great regular season team over the past few years, but that hasn’t translated to a significant playoff run during the Dak Prescott era.
With this in mind, Prescott is one of the most polarizing players in the league.
On one hand, some fans and analysts applaud his efforts during the regular season, indicating that he plays well, but his teammates let him down in the playoffs.
Others believe Prescott is not the answer, and that the team should move on sooner than later.
The good news for both parties is that it seems like this situation is coming to a head, one way or another.
Prescott has been waiting for a contract extension from the team, but since it hasn’t been given to him yet, rumors are starting to heat up that he won’t be on the team in 2025.
He was asked about his future with the team at a gala event, as shared by Around The NFL, to which Prescott responded, “I don’t fear either situation.”

Based on these comments, Prescott seems like he’ll be content with whatever happens after the 2024 season.
He could get extended by the Cowboys, but if not, there could be a big push by quarterback-needy teams across the league to pursue Prescott’s services.
