The Minnesota Vikings need a new quarterback.
Kirk Cousins is no longer in town, and they know that Sam Darnold isn’t a long-term solution for the position.
That’s why they’re reportedly exhausting all avenues to find their new gunslinger, and fortunately for them, they have plenty of options to choose from.
However, Bo Nix isn’t one of them according to a recent report.
According to Vikings insider Alec Lewis, the Vikings like what they see in Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, JJ McCarthy, and even Michael Penix Jr, but they’re just not high on Nix (via The Purple Persuasion).
Could the #Vikings not be interested in Bo Nix?
Per @Alec_Lewis, “all indications are that they like Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, J.J. McCarthy and even Michael Penix Jr.”

Nix is currently projected to go to the Denver Broncos.
The Oregon star had mixed results and reviews during his days in college, struggling with consistency when he was in Auburn, and then getting significantly better after transferring.
As of now, it seems like the Vikings are focusing their efforts on getting either Maye or McCarthy, as Daniels is likely going to be off the table by the time they’re on the clock.
As for Penix Jr., it seems like he could be their choice if they fail to trade up to the top five and get McCarthy.
The Vikings are reportedly the most aggressive team in trade talks for the No. 4 or No. 5 pick, which belong to the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Chargers, respectively.
Whatever the case, it’s become quite evident that Kevin O’Connell isn’t satisfied with his team’s current quarterback situation, and they won’t get past the first round without getting Justin Jefferson a new signal-caller.
