The Los Angeles Lakers were almost perfect, but being almost perfect won’t cut it vs. the reigning NBA champions.

Anthony Davis dominated in the first three quarters of the game and finished with an impressive stat line.

However, he disappeared in the fourth quarter, taking just one shot, going scoreless, and grabbing one board.

That’s why former NBA star Tim Hardaway Sr. wasn’t satisfied with his performance and his post-game attitude.

Talking on “The Carton Show,” he called Davis out for not taking matters into his own hands when the game was on the line.

.@HardawaySr explains what Anthony Davis should’ve done in the 4th quarter:

He stated that Davis should’ve taken over and demanded the ball in the fourth quarter, which he clearly didn’t do.

This has been a recurring issue with Davis for most of his career, especially since he arrived in Los Angeles.

He was supposed to be the Lakers’ go-to guy and star, but he keeps taking a backseat to 39-year-old LeBron James.

Of course, not everyone’s meant to be Batman, and there’s nothing wrong with being one of the best Robins in the game.

Even so, the Lakers will need him to be way more aggressive if they want to stand a chance to even things up when the series heads back to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4.

And while the numbers will most likely continue to be impressive, they need him to be as efficient in the fourth quarter as he was before that, especially if Nikola Jokic keeps playing like the best player in the Association.
