Over the past few years, Denver Nuggets superstar center Nikola Jokic has taken the NBA by storm as he has entered his prime and has led his team to the mountaintop with the franchise’s first championship.

Jokic has only gotten better and better with more time on the basketball floor while making his teammates Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. that much better and primed to potentially win back-to-back titles.

After another stellar regular season with the Nuggets, Jokic is likely well on his way to being named NBA MVP for the third time in his playing career, which is incredible, to say the least.

Along with another trophy potentially being added to his trophy case in Denver, Jokic has his team clicking in the first round of the NBA playoffs, with a 2-0 series lead against the Los Angeles Lakers, which has prompted former Nuggets head coach George Karl to say the Serbian is possibly the best player he’s ever seen via Iconic Sonics.

“I think Jokic may be the best basketball player I’ve ever seen,” Karl said. “He makes the game of basketball, which is really hard, look really easy, and it’s not easy. He makes the game of basketball simple. He makes guys better.”

As of right now, there may not be a team in the West that can hang with the defending champions, as they are making easy work of the Lakers for a second straight season in the postseason and will likely be the favorite when they advance to the second round and beyond.

As for Jokic’s legacy, he has the chance to go down as one of the best players to ever play the game while also sporting a trophy case that’s filled to the brim.
