The NBA playoffs are off and running, making for one of the most exciting times of the year for sports fans.
The NHL playoffs are also going on, the MLB season is in full swing, and the NFL Draft is nearly here.
Many fans have expressed excitement about how this year’s playoffs have played out to this point, as several NBA teams are in the postseason that weren’t expected to be in this position heading into the year.
One of the biggest risers from the preseason is the Minnesota Timberwolves, who currently have a 2-0 series lead over the Phoenix Suns.
On paper, this was slated to be a difficult series matchup for the Timberwolves, given the fact that the Suns crushed them during the regular season.
However, their defense has shined over these past two games, which, among other things, caused Kendrick Perkins to call them “the most impressive team in the playoffs.”
In this segment of the NBA on ESPN, Perkins also called out the Timberwolves for “standing on business, being about that life, that’s going to travel.”

The Timberwolves are slated to travel to Phoenix for games 3 and 4.
While some are concerned about the Timberwolves’ ability to win on the road against the Suns, Perkins isn’t worried.
He believes that their skill and team chemistry will help them carry through, making for solid performances in a tough environment.
Can the Timberwolves step up and win this series, hopefully making their most successful playoff run since the early days of Kevin Garnett?
