The playoffs have just started and numerous major NBA stars are participating, while some were not able to make the cut.
On Thursday’s “Get Up,” Tim Legler spoke about some of those stars and said that their chances of ever winning another championship are gone.
Speaking specifically about LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry, Legler said, “They’ve got ten rings between the three of them and I think that’s gonna be where it’s gonna finish.”

James is currently battling to get his team out of a tough 2-0 deficit against the Denver Nuggets, while Durant is doing the same with his Phoenix Suns against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Meanwhile, Curry isn’t even in the playoffs after his Golden State Warriors failed to make it out of the Play-In Tournament.
Legler just doesn’t see how these three players will become champions again before retirement unless they make a big move.
He doesn’t predict that either James or Curry will leave their teams but he does think that Durant could.
He feels that Durant is demoralized and unhappy with the current situation in Phoenix and could opt to leave the team in the future if things don’t go well.
Perhaps he can score another championship ring if he goes to play with the Timberwolves, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, or another team.
It is a bit shocking to see so many talented, future Hall of Famers having difficulty in the playoffs this year.
But it goes to show that the league is populated by massively talented young stars who are rising.
These three icons have found amazing levels of success during their years in the league.
Can any of them win one more time before they retire?
