At some point, the Boston Celtics will have to make a tough decision.
They’ve given their star duo of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum more than enough opportunities to prove that they can win together, and time and time again, they’ve failed.
They were given the benefit of the doubt because of their youth and their talent, but the front office has gone to great lengths to surround them with as many talented players as possible, and they’ve played under two different coaches.
That’s why former NBA star Rasheed Wallace believes that they should break them up if they don’t get the job done this season.
Talking on SiriusXM NBA Radio, Wallace claimed that one of them might have to go pretty soon, and he might be right.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that someone has said that, and it definitely won’t be the last.
There’s no denying that both of them are incredibly talented, All-NBA-caliber players.
Sometimes, however, stars simply cannot coexist, and it’s not a knock on them.
The Celtics have been great in the regular season and not so much in the playoffs.
Even when they made it to the NBA Finals two years ago, both of them underperformed.
It’s hard to explain what happens to this team come playoff time.
But regardless of the reason or any explanation, the fact of the matter is that they might have no choice but to make a decision and build their roster around one of them.
