The Milwaukee Bucks are in a lot of trouble right now.
Not only have they lost homecourt advantage and fallen to a 1-2 series deficit, but they could also be without their two best players for the remainder of the playoffs.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is already out with an injured calf.
Calf injuries can be very tricky and lead to major ailments, which is why they shouldn’t rush him back to the floor.
If that wasn’t enough, it now seems like Damian Lillard has suffered an Achilles injury as well.
Following their overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers, Bucks coach Doc Rivers told the media that he fears that Lillard is struggling with an Achilles injury, going as far as to reveal that Lillard wanted to be a decoy in overtime because his explosiveness just wasn’t there (via Eric Nehm).
Doc Rivers, on Damian Lillard: “I think it’s his Achilles again, so we’ll see.”
Rivers: “Honestly, Dame was really struggling. In the overtime, he literally said, ‘I’ll be the decoy. I just can’t go as far as explosion.’ So I thought Dame just being out there was huge for us.”

Perhaps that’s not the smartest thing to say when the series is still ongoing, and Rick Carlisle’s coaching staff is now going to adjust accordingly.
Lillard has struggled with several injuries over the past couple of years, and Achilles injuries are no joke.
He’s been quite solid in the first three games of the series, and Khris Middleton finally had a throwback game and stepped up big time to keep the team afloat in Game 3.
Nevertheless, their chances of pulling this off without their two best players or with a limited Damian Lillard are pretty close to zero, and it just seems like this team has been cursed from the very start of the season.
