Not even the biggest Los Angeles Lakers fan believes in LeBron James as much as Draymond Green does.

Green has never hidden the fact that he’s LeBron’s biggest fan in the league and perhaps in all sports media as well.

However, not even the Golden State Warriors star sees James winning another championship with the Lakers, at least not with this current roster.

Talking on the latest edition of his podcast, the former Defensive Player of the Year assessed the Lakers’ status after another tough loss to the Denver Nuggets.

True to form, he claimed that he can absolutely see LeBron winning another ring with the way he’s playing right now, but the Lakers need to retool the roster for that to happen.

“With this current team, I don’t think it’s possible”

Then, the Klutch Sports client said that he still thinks LeBron could win with anybody because he’s LeBron.

Green is right on point.

As good as James has been on offense, he hasn’t been a factor on defense, allowing Aaron Gordon to feast on both ends of the glass.

Even so, no one should expect him to be a two-way player at 39 years old, and he hasn’t been a defensive plus dating back to his second stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Lakers cannot hope that James will bail them out night in and night out, and he needs a third star at this point in his career.

Anthony Davis might not be that guy, and Rob Pelinka will need to work his magic if he wants to help James tie Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan with a fifth championship.
