Now that the Phoenix Suns have been swept out of the first round of the playoffs, there are many questions about Kevin Durant.
People are asking if he made the right choice by coming to Phoenix, what’s next for him, and what his legacy will look like.
On “Get Up,” NBA analyst Alan Hahn said that Durant made a big mistake a few years ago when he left the Golden State Warriors, and it’s all the fault of people on NBA Twitter.
“Kevin Durant paid too much attention to what was being said about him…rather than just staying there where he was a great fit and they could’ve continued to win championships,” Hahn said.

Hahn said that Durant was an amazing fit with the Warriors and should have remained there.
He won two championships with the team and was obviously a huge benefit to the roster along with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and others.
But Durant only spent a few seasons playing in Golden State before he made his move to the Brooklyn Nets, and then the Suns after that.
He hasn’t been able to find the same level of success in either of those places.
This season has been very painful for Durant and the Suns.
After some massive changes in the summer, the team faced injuries all season and ultimately fell short in their disappointing and short run in the playoffs.
Many NBA fans wonder what would have happened had he stayed with the Warriors.
Durant has said that he never listens to people criticizing his game and his choices, but Hahn said that’s not true.
He claims that Durant was too attentive to the critics, which led to one of the worst decisions of his career.
