Devin Booker has been the only consistent part of the Phoenix Suns for years.
During his time with the team, he has seen a list of other players come and go, as well as a head coach and owner too.
But is Booker keeping an eye on the exit?
That’s what Stephen A. Smith thinks.
According to NBACentral, Smith said that Booker is thinking about becoming a member of the New York Knicks.
“[Booker] might deny it, I haven’t spoken to him. I’m just telling you the scuttlebutt in the NBA circles is that brother wanna be in New York,” Smith said.

It is important to note that Smith admits that he hasn’t spoken directly with Booker, which means he is basing his statement solely on hearsay and rumors.
Does the idea of Booker leaving the Suns feel very far-fetched?
He has played excellent basketball for years, earning four All-Star appearances and one trip to the NBA Finals.
But his team continually comes up short despite his enormous numbers and Booker isn’t getting any younger.
No one would blame him for wanting to leave, especially to a team like the Knicks.
Additionally, the Suns are so bogged down by the contracts of Booker and Kevin Durant that they might entertain the thought of shipping him away in order to rebuild the team with multiple players and draft picks.
But would the Knicks ever go for this?
They are in a very promising position right now and just had one of their best regular seasons in years so they might not want to mess with the chemistry they have.
They also may not want to spend the money and assets on someone who would be as in-demand as Booker.
If Booker really is thinking about trying to become a Knick, it means he is considering leaving the Suns.
That means that other teams could stand a chance to steal him away from Phoenix.
