The upcoming NBA offseason might end up being one of the busiest and most exciting in years.
The Association is changing in some big ways and a few up-and-coming teams are taking over as the best in the league.
There are others on the peripheral hoping to make some noise, like the Utah Jazz and New Orleans Pelicans.
According to The Ringer, via Evan Sidery, the Jazz and Pelicans are “expected to be aggressive on the trade market this offseason utilizing their rich supply of draft capital.”
Sidery reminded readers that the Jazz own 15 first-round picks over the next five years, while New Orleans could “go star hunting” by offering up Brandon Ingram among other draft picks.

The Jazz have been accumulating a tremendous amount of draft picks over the last several seasons.
Danny Ainge has been a mastermind behind the scenes, committing to many trades and landing not only young talent but draft compensation too.
It sounds like he may start spending some of his draft capital this summer and it could radically transform the team.
As for the Pelicans, they just got swept out of the playoffs in the opening round and it’s obvious that they are ready to make changes.
It’s somewhat surprising to hear that Ingram could be on the trade block but he could get them a hefty return on the market.
Does that mean they will hold onto Zion Williamson, even with another injury ending his season this year?
There are many questions about both of these teams and their goals.
For example, what type of players do they want, and do they have their eyes set on any specific stars?
Right now, they are likely working the phones and formulating their plans but in a matter of weeks, we will have a better idea of what the Jazz and Pelicans plan to do.
