The Los Angeles Lakers have some important decisions to make during the offseason.

Despite having a roster spearheaded by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.

The Nuggets are the defending NBA champions, but this result wasn’t what many were expecting heading into the year.

James was supposed to help turn this team around in 2023, but unfortunately for them, they are back to the drawing board with this early exit in mind.

There have been many rumors that the Lakers could move on from James in the offseason, but his next destination is unknown.

Mike Greenberg and Paul Hembekides recently talked about this phenomenon in a segment shared on the ESPN Radio page on Twitter.

“I think LeBron could go to the East Coast,” Hembekides said.

Hembekides and Greenberg talked about teams like the New York Knicks as a potential fit for him, but any East Coast team could do the trick.

The Philadelphia 76ers are another East Coast team that has shown a lot of promise over the past several years, as have the Boston Celtics.

Any one of these teams could be a good fit for James, who is seemingly looking for one more ring before he retires.

While it remains to be seen when he’ll officially hang it up, given his age of 39, the clock is ticking.

He’ll have to find the right suitor in the offseason, hoping to give it a final chance at the end of his career.
