After a thrilling Game 5 that might’ve saved their season, the Cleveland Cavaliers had a chance to wrap up their first-round series against the Orlando Magic in Game 6.
The Cavaliers trailed after the first half, but fought back in the second half to take a lead and looked like they were on their way to closing things out.
However, Orlando found another gear in the fourth quarter and managed to make a comeback to force a Game 7 in Cleveland.
Donovan Mitchell did everything for the Cavaliers in the fourth quarter, scoring all 18 points in the final period en route to a 50-point performance that wound up being for nought.
While Mitchell was trying to play the hero, Darius Garland was on the other side of it trying to make some sort of impact.
Unfortunately for Garland, a late-game turnover had fans upset with his performance, via BrickWrld on Twitter.

Garland is TRASH!!!! Cavs fans talked him up last season and said he’s better than Jalen Brunson

In the clip, Garland takes possession of the basketball with about 22 seconds on the shot clock and begins dribbling up court.
However, he doesn’t cross the half-court line until about the 15-second mark which results in the 8-second violation.
In Garland’s defense, it looks like the clock started earlier than it should have and he should have been given more time to bring the ball up.
It was odd in real-time to see it happen, but it doesn’t change the fact that that turnover gave the Magic some momentum down the stretch.
With Game 7 on the horizon, Garland will need to take better care of the ball if he and the Cavaliers hope to advance.
