A growing number of people believe that the New York Knicks might have what it takes to go all the way to the NBA Finals this year.

Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors is not one of those people.

Speaking on his show, via New York Basketball, Green said that he believes Knicks fans are “delusional.”

Green then said:

“A ball-dominant Jalen Brunson ain’t going to get you to the promised land. I didn’t say you weren’t gonna win first round and I think you should easily win second round. I said you can’t get to the promised land. And quite frankly, if I’m honest, I still don’t think you can.”

“I quite frankly don’t hate the Knicks…A lot of Knicks fans are delusional…I know they need something to rally around…rally around the Draymond Green Show…I’m honest & not delusional and a ball-dominant Jalen Brunson ain’t going to get you to the Promised Land. Like others, Green is taking issue with the fact that Brunson is a smaller, ball-dominant guard.

Certain people believe that a team can’t win the playoffs if someone like that leads them, although that description sounds a lot like Stephen Curry, who has claimed four championships with Green.

The Knicks have been on a roll for most of the season, especially during the playoffs.

Their series against the Philadelphia 76ers was one of the best in years, exciting every single game with a ton of twists and turns.

The Knicks are now set to face off against the Indiana Pacers, another team that could provide fans with multiple fun games.

Now that they’re in the playoffs, competition against the Knicks is higher than before, and getting further won’t be easy.

But they are looking to prove Green wrong and show that they have what it takes to beat the Pacers, Celtics, and the rest of the East.
