The reigning NBA champions are in some serious trouble right now.
Even despite being at home and with Rudy Gobert out, they couldn’t get the job done vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Moreover, Jamal Murray could even be suspended for Game 3, as he had some questionable behavior during the loss.

How is he not going to be suspended? He interfered with live action. That’s insane. 500,000 dollar fine for this

Murray struggled mightily in the first game of the series, and things clearly weren’t much better in Game 2.
The Timberwolves put together one of the best postseason performances in recent NBA history, completely shutting down the defending champions with their stout defense despite missing the potential Defensive Player of the Year.
We haven’t seen the Nuggets like this in a very, very long time.
It’s not just that they couldn’t find an opening to drive to the rim or knock down shots; it’s that they literally couldn’t get past the Timberwolves and their physicality.
Frustration can bring the worst out of some players, and these competitors are human beings first and foremost.
Then again, there’s simply no place for unsportsmanlike behavior, and it’ll be interesting to see if the league decides to dig deeper into this matter and Murray’s actions.
