The Denver Nuggets lost a big game to the Minnesota Timberwolves, but more than that, they looked completely out of character.

The players spent more time complaining and pouting after every call and no call than trying to get the job done, and Jamal Murray starred in a shocking incident.

The Canadian guard threw a heat pack onto the court while he was on the bench.

He did so right at the lane while there were as many as five players in the paint, and Karl-Anthony Towns was inches away from stepping on it.

That’s why former NBA player Jay Williams believes he should be suspended for that.

Talking to Tim Legler on ESPN’s “Get Up,” they talked about how dangerous and reckless his actions were, and while there’s no precedent for something like that, the league definitely shouldn’t look the other way (via ClutchPoints).

“I feel like he should be suspended for a game. That was an inch away from Karl-Anthony Towns planting his right foot.”

Truth be told, there’s absolutely no place in the game for that.

It’s one thing to lose a basketball game or two, or even get run off the court like the Nuggets were, but there’s a line that should never be crossed, and Murray crossed it.

Whether Adam Silver will try to discipline him and put the Nuggets into an even bigger predicament by suspending him remains to be seen, but this cannot go unnoticed.
