The Atlanta Hawks’ season came to an early and disappointing end.
It didn’t take long before the rumors of Trae Young being on the trade block flooded social media, and once again, the Los Angeles Lakers looked like a logical destination for him.
Nonetheless, that might no longer be the case.
As he announced on social media, Young has now signed up with CAA Sports.
When I say it, I really mean it..

Why does that matter, and why does that mean that he might not be going to L.A.?
Well, Young was formerly represented by Rich Paul and Klutch Sports, who also happen to represent LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
There were some evident ties between Young, Klutch, and the Lakers, and that’s no longer the case.
So, while that doesn’t necessarily rule out a move to Southern California, it surely turns plenty of heads.
Recently, Young talked about his desire to stay in Atlanta, but he also made it loud and clear that winning was his No. 1 priority.
He’s also been tied with a move to the San Antonio Spurs, and there have been plenty of rumors about his attitude, character, and demeanor and how he’s often rubbed his teammates, coaches, and executives the wrong way.
All things considered, it’ll be interesting to see how his market shapes up and whether he’s still an Atlanta Hawk by the end of the upcoming campaign.
