The Kansas City Chiefs might be adding even more wide receiver help to their Super Bowl core.

After adding veteran speedster “Hollywood” Brown and former Texas star Xavier Worthy this offseason, the team is looking into adding veteran receiver Zay Jones.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jones is scheduled to meet with the Chiefs Thursday.

He has already visited with the Cardinals, Titans, and Cowboys.

Adding the 29-year-old receiver could be a nice move by GM Brett Veach.

With the receiver core mostly very young, adding a player that is entering his eighth season would be smart.

Jones was drafted by the Buffalo Bills back in 2017 out of East Carolina.

He would then go from Buffalo to the Raiders in 2019.

However, his best career NFL season, so far, came with the Jaguars in 2022 when he reeled in 82 receptions on 121 targets for 823 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Now a free agent once again, he may be looking to join a Super Bowl contender, which is the definition of what the Chiefs are right this moment.

Adding a veteran role player such as Flowers to a core of Travis Kelce, “Hollywood” Brown, Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Skyy Moore would make this arsenal that much deeper.

He would be another player that MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes could trust.

Regardless, adding Zay Jones would be a quality move for Kansas City.
