Some Boston Celtics fans have been alarmed by what they’ve seen from Jayson Tatum during the first two games against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
His average during those games has been 21.5 points, 9 rebounds, and 5.5 assists.
While those aren’t bad numbers by any means, the Celtics need even more from Tatum, especially after the team’s shocking loss to the Cavaliers on Thursday night.
Tim Hardaway Sr. predicts that Tatum’s rough patch is behind him and shared his predictions for Game 3 on Friday’s “The Carton Show.”
Hardaway thinks that Tatum will post over 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists.
He said that Tatum will remind everyone that he is “a dog” who can play hard and lead his team.
“He’s gonna bring it,” Hardaway confidently stated.

If Hardaway’s prediction comes true, it’ll put the Celtics back on the right track and possibly on their way to the Eastern Conference Finals.
However, the opposite is just as impactful: if the Celtics lose again, they will be in a 1-2 hole and the fanbase will begin to panic.
This isn’t the first time that Tatum’s postseason output has been criticized by people but he has a chance of redemption this year if he has some breakout games.
Even without Tatum playing to the best of his ability, the Celtics were able to easily win Game 1.
But Game 2 exposed a lot of their weaknesses and several players had off nights, opening a path for the Cavaliers to steal a victory on the road.
Tatum and the Celtics are smart and resilient and they will surely study what went wrong and create plans to right their wrongs.
Does that mean that Tatum will be posting 30 points and 12 rebounds, as Hardaway predicts?
That’s a tall order but Tatum will certainly try.
