The Denver Nuggets were put to the test, and they aced the challenge.
Down 0-2 and fresh off getting blown out at home, Nikola Jokic and company had an obligation to bounce back in a big way, and they did.
This win could’ve been a breaking point to tilt the scale back in their favor, and while they’re still down in the series, the way they played should be quite encouraging.
That’s why NBA analyst Jason Timpf said that this was an ‘unbelievable’ performance by the reigning NBA Champions.
Talking on The Volume, Timpf claimed that this was the first time that we had seen the Nuggets being desperate, and they were definitely up to the task.
“This was our first chance to see what desperate Denver looked like… and wow, that was UNBELIEVABLE”

He believes this win will give the Nuggets a huge psychological boost.
Also, the fact that Jamal Murray looked like the player he’s always been again was massive for them.
Timpf adds that this would be the kind of performance that people would remember from Jokic, Murray, and this Nuggets team.
That’s right on point.
The Nuggets dominated on both ends of the floor for the entire game, and that’s exactly what you want after getting blown out at home and losing back-to-back games.
You never want to give the reigning champions a chance to live another day, and the Timberwolves could be in a lot of trouble.
