The Denver Nuggets are still alive.

The defending champions showed a lot of pride in Game 3, dominating the Denver Nuggets on both ends of the floor, especially on defense.

That’s why coach Mike Malone wants them to build off this big win.

Following the triumph, Coach Malone addressed his guys and praised them for their performance, and he wants them to keep this momentum going for the upcoming game and the remainder of the series (Via Denver Nuggets).

“Let’s build off this,” Malone said.

Malone is a great tactician, but he’s an even better motivator.

He’s built the Nuggets from the ground up, and the front office’s trust and patience paid off with an NBA championship.

It’s more than clear that he knows how to push his players’ buttons, and they would all run through a brick wall for him because they know he’s got their backs.

The Nuggets still have plenty of work ahead of them.

They’re still down in the series, and the Minnesota Timberwolves have proven that their success in the regular season wasn’t a fluke by any means.

They match up nicely against them, and they’re perhaps the only team in the league that has enough size and big bodies to throw at Nikola Jokic on defense, not to mention the fact that Jamal Murray is still dealing with an injury.

But if anyone can come back from this deficit, it’s definitely the defending NBA Champions, especially if they put that kind of effort on defense.
