The Denver Nuggets and their fans are feeling a lot better after Friday night’s Game 3.
The Nuggets scored a pivotal 117-90 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, giving them some hope of a comeback that seemed far-fetched just a few days ago.
Their win was possible because of the combination of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, who both scored 24 points.
Following the game, Murray spoke to the NBA about how much Jokic means to the team.
“He makes everyone around him better…It’s a blessing to be drafted into this situation, into this organization…It’s just a lot of fun,” Murray said.

There are many wonderful duos throughout the NBA but few are as celebrated as Murray and Jokic.
These two players have been together for several years but they reached their ultimate level of success last year when they claimed their first championship.
Murray is a huge key to the team’s success but it’s undeniable that Jokic is still the most crucial part of Denver.
Not only is he a terrific scorer but, as Murray said, he makes everyone around him a lot better too.
This is mostly because Jokic is a one-of-a-kind passer and has a natural, uncanny, and downright entertaining ability to find his teammates all over the court.
His splendid passing skills have not only created a ton of highlights that fans adore but they have also led to many wins.
Murray says that it’s “fun” to play with Jokic but Timberwolves fans weren’t having any fun on Friday night.
If Jokic and Murray continue to play like this in the next game, they can even the series and make things very nerve-wracking for Minnesota.
