The Indiana Pacers were able to get a vital win at home on Friday night, scoring a 111-106 victory over the New York Knicks and bringing their second-round series to 2-1.
It was a hard-fought game for both teams but one move by a Pacers player is earning attention for all the wrong reasons.
KnicksMuse highlighted a specific moment of the game in the final quarter when Pascal Siakam seemingly grappled with Isaiah Hartenstein and held him back, preventing him from rebounding.
“Inexcusable stuff,” the Twitter account said, suggesting that Siakam should have been called for a foul.

Many other Knicks fans hopped online to share their opinions and they all agreed: Siakam should have received the whistle for this move.
“The officiating was disgraceful tonight,” one fan said, which was a view shared by many other New York fans.

Others said that head coach Rick Carlisle and the Pacers won’t be complaining about the refs after that play.
Carlisle has been very vocal about his anger with recent decisions by the game officials but he and his team were silent after their Game 3 win.
Bet the pacers won’t be complaining about missed calls after tonight

Other people said that the Knicks can’t blame Siakam’s move for their loss.
They need to instead just focus on bouncing back in the next game and putting this tough night behind them.
“knicks just have to take that and come back prepared for the next one,” a supporter said.
it is what it is – excuses are for other fanbases. nemhard hit an incredible shot and knicks just have to take that and come back prepared for the next one

The Pacers needed this win and they played their hearts out to get it.
Regardless of the calls they did or did not receive from the refs, they walked away with the victory and now the series is much tighter before the next game, which will also be held in Indiana.
