The Boston Celtics did what they had to do.

They took care of business and bounced back with a big win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, making sure to steal homecourt advantage again and make a statement.

Jayson Tatum had his best game of the playoffs thus far, scoring 33 points with 13 rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, and a couple of three-pointers.

Nonetheless, for whatever reason, Skip Bayless still decided to take a big shot at the Duke product.

During the game, Bayless took to Twitter to express how much better Jaylen Brown was.

Granted, Brown also had a great game with 28 points, nine rebounds, three dimes, one steal, and a couple of threes on 13-of-17 shooting.

Even so, taking a shot at Tatum when he finally has a good game seems kind of weird.

At the end of the day, both are very talented players, and both have left plenty to be desired when it matters the most.

Tatum can’t seem to take a step forward as a leader or hit big-time shots, and Brown’s limitations with his left hand have also exposed him in the playoffs in the past.

Still, the only thing that matters is that Joe Mazzulla’s team continues to take care of business, responding both times they’ve dropped games they should’ve won.

Anything short of a trip to the NBA Finals should be considered a failure for this Celtics team.

However, people won’t fully trust them until they finally show that they can finish the job.
