The second-round NBA playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves has proven to be an exciting one.

This is a series between the reigning champs and an upstart team that’s trying to make a meaningful playoff run for the first time in more than 20 years.

It seemed like the Timberwolves were going to run away with the series after starting 2-0, but that is no longer the case in the public eye.

The Nuggets blew them out in Game 3, and while it was a bit closer, they also won in Game 4, tying the series 2-2.

After seeing their most recent win, Robert Griffin III took to Twitter to talk about what this meant for the Nuggets.

“They adjusted to the Wolves’ pressure, moved the ball to get high % shots and are back in control going back home,” Griffin said.

The @nuggets faced adversity down 2-0. Many said they were done or couldn’t deal with it. All the Nuggets did was say SHUT THE HELL UP and stop doubting us. They adjusted to the Wolves’ pressure, moved the ball to get high % shots and are back in control going back home. pic.twitter.com/Se7l3ULI85

This was a massive win for the Nuggets.

Not only did they tie up the series heading into Game 5, but as Griffin mentioned, they have significant momentum going into their next game.

It will be interesting to see how the Timberwolves bounce back from two straight losses, especially since they never had a three-game losing streak during the regular season.

Both teams have gotten to this point in the season for a reason, and it’s time to find out what they are both made of.

Going up 2-0 in a series doesn’t have the same effect that it used to, as both the Timberwolves and New York Knicks have found out in their respective series.
