The Denver Nuggets have evened things up.

Mike Malone’s team is right back in the fight, taking back-to-back games on the road in Minnesota.

They’ve been very solid on both ends of the floor, with Jamal Murray finally looking like himself again.

However, the biggest X-factor has been Aaron Gordon.

The former Orlando Magic power forward has been an unstoppable force on both ends of the glass, finishing above the rim, bodying defenders up, and giving his team some extra possessions with his rebounding and physicality.

That’s why Mike Golic and Mike Golic Jr. believe he could actually be an NFL player.

In the latest edition of “GoJo and Golic,” they claimed that Gordon could be a great pass rusher, stating that he’s what makes the Nuggets go from a good team to a “nuclear” team because he’s a football player who plays basketball.

“Aaron Gordon is a dude who looks like he could play in the NFL! He was the major difference in this game.” @golic

That’s a fair comparison.

Gordon looked like a man among children when he entered the league as a 19-year-old, and his strength, power, hops, and athleticism are some of the most impressive in the league.

While he can’t be expected to go perfect from beyond the arc every night, his energy on both ends of the floor is contagious, and he’s done an outstanding job of dominating Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Nuggets are the reigning NBA champions for a reason, and if all the pieces are clicking and focused, this is going to be a tough team to beat, even for this Timberwolves team.
