The Cleveland Cavaliers are still right there in the series.

Nonetheless, they’ll definitely need some better efforts from some of their players.

Donovan Mitchell has been a one-man show during the playoffs, and that’s not going to get the job done for much longer, especially against a stacked team like the Boston Celtics.

That’s why sports analyst Tony Rizzo called it “maddening” that the Cavs have left Mitchell all by himself.

Talking on ESPN Cleveland Radio, Rizzo called out the rest of the supporting cast for not stepping up.

“He’s all by himself, it’s maddening,” – @TheRealTRizzo on Donovan Mitchell.

He doubts that Darius Garland or Evan Mobley will ever take a step forward and take some weight off of Mitchell’s shoulders.

He also called out Max Strus for his struggles from beyond the arc, adding that the Cavs don’t stand a chance if they kick the ball out to Isaac Okoro in the corner, adding that he can’t sink a shot to save his life.

Rizzo called Mitchell a great player and a class act, which is why he’s never going to call out his teammates.

Truth be told, there are also some questions about J.B. Bickerstaff’s coaching, and the Cavs don’t seem to stand much of a chance if Jarrett Allen isn’t out there dominating the glass.

The Cavs’ youngsters haven’t had the development people expected them to go through, and it might never happen at this point.

To make things even worse, Mitchell has yet to sign a contract extension, and a second-round exit in five games could make him feel like that’s not going to be in his best interests, either.
