Like many people, Colin Cowherd thought the Minnesota Timberwolves had a handle on their series against the Denver Nuggets.

And, also like many people, he was shocked and impressed by how the Nuggets played in Games 3 and 4, evening the series and reminding people how great they are.

On his show, via The Volume, Cowherd admitted that he “rushed to judgment” about the Nuggets and counted them out too soon.

“This is what champions do,” Cowherd said before adding that the version of the Nuggets he saw this weekend was the one he expected all along.

That is true for many people who were disappointed by the Nuggets in the first two games.

Not only did they lose at home during those games, but they also lost by a huge margin in Game 2 and didn’t play with the same sort of power and intelligence that they are known for.

That all changed in Game 3 when they stormed back against the Timberwolves on the road.

Although Game 4 was closer, the Nuggets still had a firm grasp on their opponents and looked in control again.

Now the series is all tied up with two wins apiece and all eyes are on Game 5, which will be held in Denver.

The Timberwolves won two games in Colorado, but can they do it again now that the Nuggets have come back to life?

Fans still aren’t sure why the Nuggets weren’t playing at 100% but they have shaken off whatever was slowing them down and look like the championship team they were last season.

Do the Timberwolves have what it takes to bounce back and reclaim their momentum?
