For the last few months, there has been plenty of talk that the Atlanta Hawks are about the break things up.
They have had a talented starting backcourt consisting of Trae Young and Dejounte Murray for two seasons, but they haven’t been able to do any better than lose in the first round of the playoffs during that time.
Rumor has it that Atlanta will look to trade either Young or Murray, but Young said his relationship with Murray is solid, via Bleacher Report.

Young made the All-Star team for a third time this season while averaging 25.7 points and 10.8 assists a game, and he is the type of player who can shoot his team into an unexpected win at any time.
However, as critics point out, he is inefficient (he shot just 43 percent from the field this year), and he’s mistake-prone, as he committed 4.4 turnovers a game this year and has a career average of 4.2 turnovers a game.
The San Antonio Spurs are one team that could be a destination for Young, and Victor Wembanyama is reportedly “intrigued” with playing alongside Young.

Murray, meanwhile, saw his name come up repeatedly in trade rumors during the winter, and he will likely be involved in trade speculation once again once the NBA offseason fully gets underway.
As a franchise, the Hawks haven’t had much success over the decades — they made an unexpected trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2015, but it was the first time they had made it that far since 1970.
