With the NBA playoffs moving along in its second round, we are about a month away from seeing the league crown a champion for the 2023-24 season.
The Boston Celtics are the overwhelming favorites to play for the world title out of the Eastern Conference, but there have been shifting odds in the Western Conference dating back to the start of the season.
Many thought the Phoenix Suns had a great shot at reaching the NBA Finals when the season began, and many felt the same about the Los Angeles Clippers by January, but both teams got routed in the first round.
The defending champion Denver Nuggets then looked like the favorite to come out of the West, but they lost the first two games of the semifinal series versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, casting some doubt on their odds.
However, Denver has stormed back to tie the series, and they are now the favorites to win the West, per ESPN Bet.

Denver looked out of sorts in the first two games of their series versus Minnesota, especially in Game 2, when they scored an embarrassing 80 points and lost by 26.
But they have resurrected their offense, and it is now essentially a best-of-three series with them regaining home-court advantage.
The Dallas Mavericks, who hold a 2-1 lead in their semifinal series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, have the second-highest odds to win the Western Conference.
They may not get much scoring from their frontcourt, but their star backcourt duo of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic is extremely skilled, not to mention very dangerous in crunch time.
