The New England Patriots are slated to look a lot different in 2024 than they did in 2023.
They have added several new pieces to their team, including a new quarterback and head coach.
Having a new coach can have a marked impact on an organization, especially one that was under Bill Belichick’s regime for so many years.
While it remains to be seen how this team will perform under Jerod Mayo, there is a lot of hope surrounding this team, which hasn’t been the case in recent seasons.
Adding Drake Maye as their new quarterback could also help their chances of success, but the Patriots will need to rely on other players to improve their standing in the division.
One of those players could be offensive guard Sidy Sow, a player who is considered “the most underrated” on the team, according to PFF via Carlos Talks Pats on Twitter.

OG Sidy Sow

As Carlos Talks Pats indicates, Sow received the best PFF grade for any rookie guard last year, a sign that he’s making progress.
Sow also had the 14th-best run-blocking grade in the league last year.
If he can replicate that success in 2024, perhaps even playing better than he did in his rookie season, the Patriots will be that much better as a result.
Maye should get more time in the pocket, and with Rhamondre Stevenson hopefully coming back at full capacity next year, the rushing attack should see an uptick in production.
With this new-look offense, it will be interesting to see how the Patriots fare.
