The Oklahoma City Thunder are back in control of the series.

They bounced back when they needed it the most, and the series is now heading back to Oklahoma City for Game 5.

It took a big effort, especially on the defensive end of the floor.

However, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also deserves all the credit in the world, as he was a one-man show on offense and made sure to hit some timely buckets to secure this huge win.

That’s why, following the game, star rookie Chet Holmgren showered his teammate in praise, claiming that sometimes, he’s just out there watching him like a fan and enjoying what he does (via NBA).

“There’s some points in the game where I’m just being a fan of what he’s doing… he’s been doing it all year.”

It’s nice to see that these two young stars hit it off immediately and have developed strong chemistry on and off the court, and you can tell that this entire OKC team really likes each other and would go to war with and for one another.

Also, Shai has embraced that leadership role despite being a young player himself.

He finished the night with an epic performance, scoring a game-high 34 points to go along with eight rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks, and his impact on both ends of the floor went far beyond the stat sheet.

Then again, Mark Daigneault must not be overconfident.

They won by four despite Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combining for just 27 points, which isn’t going to happen very often, so they will need to be much better in the following contests.
