The Cleveland Browns will be in the spotlight from the jump.
They’ll kick off the season by hosting the Dallas Cowboys, the most popular team in the league, and with Tom Brady making his debut as an analyst as well.
That’s why Browns insider Tony Grossi revealed that this would be the biggest audience not only for the first week but also perhaps for the whole season for the Browns (via ESPN Cleveland).
“It’s gonna be the biggest audience of the first weekend,” – @TonyGrossi on Browns vs. Cowboys.

Needless to say, Brady’s debut is going to draw a massive viewership, and the Cowboys’ star power will also guarantee plenty of fans tuning in.
However, there will also be plenty of reasons to tune in and watch the Browns this season.
They had the best defense in the game last year, and they should only get better with another season under Jim Schwartz’s tutelage, especially considering the additions they made.
On top of that, they also gave Deshaun Watson a new weapon for the passing game in Jerry Jeudy, and both Watson and Nick Chubb are expected to be on the field by the season opener.
As for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, they’ve been perhaps the biggest losers of the NFL offseason.
While they had a solid performance in the NFL Draft, they lost several key starters and will have a running back by committee approach, all while CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott continue to wait for their respective contract extensions, and that could also be a major distraction throughout the course of the season.
